The simplest way to put it would be this: she hates everyone. Of course, that isn't actually true— to the people she's opened up to, she's extremely loyal and even idolizes them to an extent. However, the rest of the world doesn't get that luxury. Plagued by feelings of anxiety, doubt, and insecurity, she pushes people away to create her own little safehaven— and in the process, alienating herself from other people. With an autistic brother and war-veteran parents, she has plenty of things that factor into her troubled homelife, and it shows— in her lack of effort in school, her mentally-truant habits of drowning in mindless pleasure fodder (tumblr, games, movies, fandoms), and most of all in the way she treats herself. Her inferiority complex is— well, complex. She thinks highly of herself in some ways, almost to the point of elitism, but conversely (and simultaneously) she utterly despises parts of herself, making her relationship with her self-esteem very complicated.
However, most of the world will never know that. At face value, she's merely some asshole who makes blunt comments online, a loner who's too difficult to understand, and an endless dispenser of sarcasm that's armed to bite and sting. She can be incredibly two-faced, presenting a facade of polite sweetness while internally judging the fuck out of everyone around her. She thinks she's absolutely rotten to the core— and sometimes she's okay with that.
Other times, she's not.
